Activating your account

If you're new to Direct2Care, and your employer adds you to their plan, you'll receive a welcome email containing your login credentials and a temporary password. The email also includes links to download the Direct2Care app from the App Store or Google Play.

Once the app is installed, follow the steps below to activate your account.


Activating your account with your welcome email

  1. Open the Direct2Care app. On the welcome screen, tap Login.
  2. Enter the email address and temporary password from your welcome email.
  3. You'll be prompted to create a new password. Enter and confirm your new password, then tap Continue.
  4. Review and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
  5. You'll be asked whether you'd like to enable biometric login like Face ID, Touch ID, or the equivalent on your device. Tap Yes to enable it, or Maybe Later to skip this step.
  6. An account created confirmation screen will appear.
  7. Next, you'll set up two-factor authentication (2FA) to secure your account. Choose to receive your verification code by email or text message.
  8. Enter the code you receive, then tap Verify.
  9. You'll land on the home screen. Your account is ready to use.

Tip: Can't find your welcome email? Check your spam or junk folder. If you still can't locate it, contact your HR administrator to have it resent.


Can't find your credentials? Use Find Me

If you've downloaded the app but no longer have your welcome email, you can look up your account using Find Me.

  1. On the welcome screen, tap Find Me beneath the "Is this being provided by your employer?" prompt.
  2. Enter your last name, date of birth, and mobile number, then tap Search.
  3. If your account is found, select it from the results.
  4. A verification code will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the code to confirm your identity.
  5. From here, follow steps 3-9 above to set your password, agree to Terms & Conditions, configure biometric login, complete 2FA setup, and reach the home screen.

 

Note: Find Me is only available for employer-sponsored accounts. If your account isn't found, confirm with your HR administrator that you've been added to your organization's plan.


Already have a Direct2Care account?

If your employer adds you to their plan using the email address on your existing account, you'll automatically get access, no action required. The next time you log in, your employer's plan will be active. You can confirm this in Settings → Plan.
