Direct2Care connects you with a provider on demand — most patients are connected within a few minutes of completing their intake.

What affects your wait time

Wait times can vary depending on provider availability at the time of your request. Demand is generally lower in the early morning and mid-afternoon. During busy periods, it may take a little longer to be connected.

How long visits last

Most visits last around 15 minutes, though this can vary depending on the reason for your visit and what your provider needs to discuss with you.

While you wait

After submitting your intake you'll be placed in the Waiting Room. You don't need to stay on that screen — you can navigate elsewhere in the app and your visit will remain active. You'll receive a text when your provider is ready, and a Join button will appear in the app.

If you need to cancel before being connected, tap Cancel Visit on the Waiting Room screen.
