Managing household members

If your plan covers family members, you can invite them to access Direct2Care through your account. Household members are managed in Settings → Household Members.

Your plan supports up to 6 household members.

A note on age: How a household member accesses Direct2Care depends on their age.

  • Under 14 - Their care is managed through your account. They won't receive a separate invitation.
  • 14 and older - They'll receive an invitation code so they can access Direct2Care directly from their own phone.

Who can be added

Any member of your household living at your same address is eligible to use Direct2Care under your plan. If you're on an employer-sponsored plan, household member access is included at no additional cost.


Adding a household member

  1. Tap Settings in the navigation bar.
  2. Tap Household Members.
  3. Tap Add Member and enter their details.
  4. An invitation will be sent to them to set up their account.

Tip: You can also add household members from the prompt on the home screen. Tap Add Members on the invite card, or dismiss it and come back to Settings later.


Removing a household member

  1. Tap Settings in the navigation bar.
  2. Tap Household Members.
  3. Tap Remove member.
  4. Select the member you want to remove.
  5. Tap Yes in the confirmation prompt to confirm.

Note: If you're on an employer-sponsored plan, removing a household member will revoke their access to those benefits. If you'd like to add them back to your plan, simply re-invite them with the same email.
