Quick Start Guide
This is a step-by-step guide for registering your account and booking your first visit.
1. Download the app
Download the Direct2Care app from the App Store or Google Play. If your employer provides Direct2Care as a benefit, download links are also included in your welcome email.
2. Set up your account
How you set up your account depends on how you're accessing Direct2Care.
Employer-sponsored account - Your employer has already created an account for you. Check your inbox for a welcome email from Direct2Care containing your temporary password. Use it to log in and follow the prompts to set your permanent password. If you can't find the email, use the Find Me feature on the welcome screen to look up your account.
New account - If you're signing up on your own, tap Create an account here on the welcome screen and follow the steps to register. See [Create a new account] for the full walkthrough.
3. Secure your account
During setup you'll be asked to enable biometric login like Face ID, Touch ID, or the equivalent on your device. You'll also set up two-factor authentication (2FA). Both can be managed later in Settings → Security Settings.
4. Add your family members
f your plan covers household members, you can add them under Settings → Household Members. See [Managing household members] for more, including eligibility requirements.
5. Get Care
Tap Get Care from the home screen or navigation bar and select the type of care you need. See [Getting medical care] for a full walkthrough of the intake and visit process.
5. Prepare for the appointment
Verify you have a stable internet connection and a device that can connect to the platform. You may also want to prepare a list of questions or concerns to discuss with your healthcare provider. Depending on your ailment, you may want to be in a private location.
6. Meet with your provider
During the visit, you'll be able to speak with your healthcare provider and receive medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment as necessary.
7. Follow-up
Once your provider completes the visit, your visit notes will be available in the Visits tab. If your provider needs more information, they'll send you a message via email.
