Security settings

Security settings let you manage how you log in and how your account is protected. You'll find these in Settings → Security Settings.

Updating your password

  1. Tap Settings in the navigation bar.
  2. Tap Security Settings.
  3. Tap Update Password.
  4. Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.
  5. Tap Save.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your account. When logging in with your email and password, you'll be sent a verification code by email or text to confirm your identity.

To change your 2FA method:

  1. Tap Settings → Security Settings.
  2. Tap Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Select Email or Text Message as your preferred method.

Biometric login

Biometric login lets you sign in using Face ID, Touch ID, or the equivalent on your device, bypassing the password and 2FA steps entirely.

To enable or disable biometric login:

  1. Tap Settings → Security Settings.
  2. Tap Biometric Login.
  3. Toggle it on or off.

Session timeout

For your security, the app will require biometric or password login again after a period of inactivity. You can adjust the timeout duration in Security Settings.

Note: Keeping your timeout short is recommended, especially if others have access to your device.
