Workplace Injury Triage
Minor injuries
Direct2Care providers can help you assess and manage minor injuries, including cuts, scrapes, minor burns, sprains, strains, and falls. In many cases, your provider can guide you through appropriate self-care steps during your visit.
If your injury requires in-person treatment or follow-up, your provider will issue a referral to an appropriate facility or specialist. See [Referrals] for more on how that process works.
Workplace injuries
If you've been injured at work, your Direct2Care provider will assess your injury and ensure the incident is properly reported. After your visit, Direct2Care's Clinical Care team will contact your employer on your behalf so the incident can be documented appropriately.
You'll also be directed to contact your HR department or employer for a list of preferred care facilities in your area for any follow-up treatment needed.
Note: For serious or life-threatening workplace injuries, call 911 immediately. Direct2Care is not an emergency service.
