Direct2Care and health insurance

Direct2Care is a healthcare access platform, not a health insurance plan. You don't need insurance to use it, and visits through Direct2Care are not billed to your insurer.

If you have health insurance, your coverage works alongside Direct2Care rather than through it. For example, prescriptions ordered by your Direct2Care provider can be filled using your insurance at your pharmacy. Specialty referrals issued by your provider can also be used with your insurance to find covered specialists in your area.

Employer-sponsored plans

If you access Direct2Care through your employer, your visits are provided as a benefit, separate from and in addition to any health insurance your employer may offer.
